Profile of Dr. Jill Gibson, MDDr. Jill Gibson is a Louisiana native.  She was born and raised in Louisiana and completed her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. She is a board certified OB/GYN. She received her Doctor of Medicine from the American University of the Caribbean in St. Maarten, N.A. She received a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Sciences from LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans.

Dr. Gibson’s practice covers the full spectrum of women’s health services including pre-conception counseling, routine prenatal care, birth control, General & Laparoscopic Surgery, Menopause, Endometriosis, Adolescent Gynecology, and hormone replacement therapy. As a mom, I look forward to helping women with not only their own healthcare needs, but also to being a resource for mothers who need help educating their daughters on how to understand and embrace their own female health.

Allison Seals Falcone, MSN FNP

Profile of Nurse Allison Seals Falcone, MSN FNPAllison Seals Falcone is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner from Ponchatoula, LA. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2009. After working for several years as an obstetrics and gynecology nurse, Falcone returned to Southeastern where she received a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2015. Falcone is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Professionally, she is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Nurse practitioners are nationally certified, state-licensed medical professionals who can practice independently. They are known as “physician extenders” educated under the nursing model, which emphasizes health promotion and education. Nurse practitioners are credentialed to manage the overall care of their patients, diagnose and treat medical conditions, prescribe medications and provide education to their patients on disease prevention and management.
